On the afternoon of February 13, 2023, Mr. Rob Donelly, Commercial Minister of the Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Australian Embassy in China and General Manager of Austrade Greater China, Mr. Rhett Miller, Deputy Consul General of the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu and Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Austrade, and Mr. Zhan Wenxiang, Senior Investment Director of the Austrade, visited OLYMVAX for exchange. Mr. Fan Shaowen, Chairman and General Manager of OLYMVAX, Ms. Fan Fan, Vice Chairman, Assistant General Manager and Director of OLYMVAX Research Institute, and Mr. Wu Wei, Secretary of the Board of Directors of OLYMVAX, extended their warm welcome to Mr. Rob Donelly and his delegation.

The two parties had a discussion first, and Mr. Fan Shaowen, Chairman and General Manager of OLYMVAX, once again expressed his warm welcome and thanks to Mr. Rob Donelly and his delegation, and mentioned that the cooperation between OLYMVAX and Australia has been started since 2016 and has been ongoing for 7 years, the R&D project was progressing smoothly and the cooperation was very pleasant. The visit of the Australian Commercial Minister will provide more opportunities for the cooperation and development between the Company and the Australian party.

Subsequently, Mr. Wu Wei, Secretary of the Board of Directors of OLYMVAX, gave a detailed introduction to the history, product research and development, international innovation achievements, and future development strategies of OLYMVAX.

Mr. Rob Donelly introduced the China-Australia relations and the investment review mechanism in Australia to OLYMVAX, saying that both China and Australia are important countries in the Asia-Pacific region, with highly complementary economies, and the relationship between China and Australia is developing in a healthy and stable way. The Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Australian Embassy in China welcomes and actively supports the investment cooperation between China and Australia, and hopes OLYMVAX will consider Australia as the country of priority for investment.

Ms. Fan Fan, Vice Chairman, Assistant General Manager and Research Institute Director of OLYMVAX, introduced the progress and plan of cooperation between the Company and Australia to Mr. Rob Donelly and his delegation. The two parties had an in-depth exchange on the investment policy and strategic cooperation between Australia and China, and discussed the future investment modes and development trends of biological enterprises in Australia.
